October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and pink is everywhere. I love to see people wearing their pink shirts or their pink hats to support this month. I am especially impressed when I see men wearing pink shirts or pink ribbons. In this day and age of men who constantly feel they have to prove their manhood, its fun to see them let go. I have a respect for men who support the efforts of the American Cancer Society and hope to see this number increase with time. In mist of the celebrations and walks, there are families who are dealing with this disease personally and I want to say "thanks" for your courage. Our family was affected by this disease and this month is bittersweet for us. Bitter from old memories but sweet because there is hope, and hope does not disappoint us (Romans 5:5). With those thoughts in mind, I look ahead to future. In the mean time, get out and support this month's movement. Personally, I look forward to putting on the pink and FIGHTING LIKE A GIRL!! Be blessed.
